Senior DevOps Consultant
As a Senior DevOps Consultant, you will be working in a leadership role as part of a multi-disciplinary team including DevOps, Developers, Business Analysts and QAs to deliver software at pace and at scale. You will help our client to become more efficient, by demonstrating the business benefits of CI/CD and a cloud-native architecture.

You will be working in a leadership role as part of a multi-disciplinary team including DevOps, Developers, Business Analysts and QAs to deliver software at pace and at scale.
On a day-to-day basis, you will be working hand in hand with the client and your fellow Amido team members to uncover the hard problems and solving them using cloud-native technologies, modern techniques and software.
As a Senior you will also have the opportunity to provide leadership within the client to really dig into the difficult business problems and help the client transform their business using Agile and DevOps principles.
What you'll bring to Amido
When you join Amido you will be joining one of our teams delivering products for our clients, as such, you will be expected to be able to create CI/CD pipelines using modern software and techniques using the Open Source stack:
• AWS or Google Cloud using Terraform
• Linux Configuration Management using Ansible
• CI/CD using Jenkins
If you think that your skill set is more on the Microsoft or .NET stack then apply anyway as we are looking for both roles.
Increasingly we are helping our customers adopt containers and Kubernetes so experience of Kubernetes and Docker are extremely beneficial.
We expect our senior consultants to be self-motivated and commercially astute, so having the ability to understand the client’s business and the senior stakeholders involved in the project to ensure that the project gets the attention it needs to make it a success.
Being a senior consultant at Amido means you are always on the front line leading the charge, so you will be working closely with clients and you need to know how to build a network so that when your team needs something you know who to call in a favour from.
You will always be prepared to explain what your project does, how it works and how it benefits the business. You will be used to maintaining architecture and design documentation, ensuring that there are no miscommunications about how your project works – in your interview, expect to pick up a whiteboard marker to help to explain how to solve a problem using cloud technologies.
