Sales Manager

As a sales manager, you are visible and directly impact the company growth. You will bring an in-depth understanding of complex customer requirement and construct and sell projects based upon the business value they create.

  • Responsibilities

    • Achievement of agreed targets
    • Lead generation
    • Managing and driving the sales process through to close
    • Ensuring that business delivered meets the required margin requirements and other criteria
    • Providing accurate and timely management information for forecasting purposes
    • Supporting marketing activities, including events/exhibitions as required
    • Maintain and develop the database in accordance with company process
    • Develop and maintain a good working knowledge of Amido, our chosen technology
    • Develop value propositions underpinned by our current and future go to market propositions
    • Activly participate as part of the wider Amido team
  • About you

    • Well honed consultative sales approach
    • Very well developed core sales skills
    • A good understanding of sales strategy
    • Demonstrable knowledge of negotiation strategy
    • High level of commercial awareness
    • Knowledge and understanding of IT environment
    • Ability to work under own initiative
    • High standards of customer service
    • An ability to present, facilitate and negotiate in a sales environment
    • Experience in managing an entire sales cycle
    • A track record of quota achievement success
    • Strong client facing and communication skills
    • European experience beneficial
    • Be mobile and hold a Full UK Driving licence


  • Who are we looking for

    Reporting to the commercial director you will be responsible for winning new business sales within a defined territory and/or vertical.

    The ideal candidate for this role is someone with hands on experience in a similar environment, ideally IT consultancy looking to move into a role where they can be visible and directly impact company growth. In addition to exceptional sales skills, you’ll need to be able to understand and document complex customer requirements in order to construct and sell projects based upon the business value they create.

    You will also be energetic, passionate and creative. Working with a high degree of autonomy, exceptional levels of integrity will be expected.
