Independent, vendor agnostic technical consultancy Amido have been shortlisted in the Best Cloud Platform Solution and Public Sector Project / Third Sector Project categories for the 2019 UK Cloud Awards; for its work with one of the UK’s largest housing associations, Notting Hill Genesis.
Taking place on Thursday 16th May at County Hall in London, the nominations recognise how Amido has helped NHG along its digital transformation journey by designing a flexible, self-service digital platform that leaves behind paper-based processes and legacy applications, giving greater choice and control to residents along with a higher level of customer service.
Notting Hill Genesis (NHG) is a new organisation, formed by the merger of the former Notting Hill Housing (NHH) and Genesis Housing Association. NHG is a social enterprise and registered charity providing homes for lower-income households in London and the surrounding areas.
Andy Belton, COO at NHG commented, ‘As part of our resident promise, we are committed to giving greater choice and control to residents, part of which included creating a self-service digital offering that would be available during early mornings, evenings and at weekends. Amido’s expertise in cloud-native design and transformation were key in helping us take this idea and turn it into a reality; a digital platform that allows frictionless online, end-to-end staff and customer journeys and a higher level of customer service.’
Now in its sixth year, the UK Cloud Awards help to celebrate innovation, diversity, customer experience and digital transformation all supported and powered by the cloud industry. You can find the full shortlist of the Cloud Awards here.
