In-House Technical Recruiter

We are looking for an experienced Technical Recruiter to join our team and build effective relationships across our engineering teams, whilst working closely with hiring managers building a strong tech talent pipeline and help hire and retain skilled employees for our IT positions.

What the Role Involves

  • Take ownership of full cycle recruitment and drive direct pipeline by using innovative sourcing techniques
  • Screen and provide a shortlist of qualified candidates for various technical roles
  • Network online and offline with potential candidates and cultivate your personal IT network to promote our employer brand, reduce our time-to-hire and ensure we attract the best professionals
  • Produce role adverts to fit with the Company’s values
  • Conduct interviews to assess that candidates’ skillsets match the role requirements and assess cultural fit
  • Build productive and trusted partnerships at all levels of the Company
  • Develop regular reports highlighting internal recruitment statistics and trends
  • Gather market data and report on any useful information/trends
  • Work with the PMO team to assess and review business priorities versus resourcing plans and team’s delivery and tackling issues quickly and professionally
  • Establish suitable benchmarks to ensure compensation rates are attractive and competitive
  • Request in-depth feedback from hiring managers on candidates and relay this feedback in a timely and appropriate manner
  • Attend regular meet-ups and conferences to grow your internal network
  • Ensure best practice is maintained throughout all processes and procedures
  • Promote company’s reputation as a great place to work
  • Keep up-to-date with new technological trends and products
  • Conduct job and task analyses to document job duties and requirements
  • Ad-hoc recruitment projects

 

About You

  • You love the challenge of hiring elusive engineers, coach hiring managers to improve the offer acceptance rate, and full-cycle recruiting in its entirety
  • Know how to come up with creative sourcing techniques to attract awesome talent
  • Collaborate with tech leaders and advise them on hiring strategy, while managing expectations and keeping them up to date on progress
  • Uncover technical aptitude and distinguish between good and average engineers
  • Ability to manage a large number of requirements from different teams
  • Understanding of relevant employment and recruitment legislation
  • Able to communicate in-depth knowledge of external market and industry trends
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and able to network successfully
  • Experience establishing and building effective working relationships across all levels of the business, including C-level executives.
  • Proactive and able to deliver in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • You’ve got a keen interest in staying in the know with Tech
  • Great sense of humour and collaborative
