Amido hosted its first annual conference on the 12th – 15th January 2017 in the beautiful Austrian town of St Johann im Pongau, Austria.

The weekend focused around one of Amido’s main service lines, Identity.

To retain customers in a digital world, multichannel customer recognition is key to providing frictionless and relevant online and offline experiences.

With customer centricity set to take centre stage in many 2017 technical strategies, the future of identity has never been so prevalent.

Topic highlights from the weekend

UMA (delegation protocol)

  • Delegation protocol is now being baked into products such as Gluu and Forgerock, with Janrain suspected to not be far behind.

Consent/Audit

  • With increasing legislation around PII and GDPR, consent needs to be managed, especially as currently there are no off-the-shelf consent preference centres for users to manage their consents given third party systems.

Bringing SaaS back to the slopes…

At Amido we’re all about a healthy work/life balance so between the identity workshops and presentation, employees were able to grab a few hours on the slopes and in the apres bars…
